Amici & Buon Vino: the personal brand for the right occasion

There are evenings that work without anyone quite being able to explain why. The right table, a few bottles, the music that was needed and, above all, the people.
When it happens, it takes very little: you look at each other and think… yes, this is the right situation.

Amici & Buon Vino was born exactly here. From a way of being together that many people already knew, and that someone had the insight to make recognisable.

Wine, records, food, places. But above all, the combination of all these elements. Within an everyday expression, an identity has taken shape: the second “Brand in Divenire”, and an interesting case for understanding how a personal brand can emerge even without putting a person at its centre.

In a short time, this intuition began to find people willing to recognise themselves in that same imagery. Today Amici & Buon Vino has around 14 thousand followers on Instagram and almost 200 published posts: numbers still far from those of the big creators, but perhaps interesting precisely for that reason. Because they describe an identity that is taking shape as we watch it.

And, above all, one that is already starting to step beyond social media.

Nomen Omen

Many emerging projects take time to explain what they do. Amici & Buon Vino has the opposite advantage: it makes itself understood, with no need for explanation.

The name already contains a familiar scene. People close to one another, a shared glass, time that needs nothing else to fill it. Wine holds an important place, but above all it serves to make something happen: meeting, talking, listening to music, pausing.

Even the order of the words, ultimately, says a great deal. The friends come before the wine.

It is a simple, almost unintentional hierarchy that immediately makes clear the value to be protected. The glass makes the encounter easier; everything else serves to give that encounter a precise character.

Then comes the claim: «Situazione Giusta», the right situation. Two even simpler words, open enough to change shape and recognisable enough to belong to the project by now.

When “Situazione Giusta” becomes a language

Every identity that grows ends up developing its own vocabulary. For Amici & Buon Vino, much of that vocabulary lives inside these two words.

A vineyard can be the right situation. The same goes for a wine bar, a store, a music selection or an open bottle. The scene changes, while the expression keeps working.

On 1 May 2026, for example, Amici & Buon Vino curated a picnic with Vinificio among the vineyards of Casale Vigna Ferri, in Frascati: ten hours of wine, broad beans and pecorino, with records selected by Who Is Lucienne, La Sartoria and Matteo Maroni.

There was not much to explain. The “right situation” was already there, in the relationship between the place, what was eaten, what was drunk, the music and the people.

On another occasion, Vino & Vinili described the project through that very motto, linking it to an idea of wine and music as occasions to get to know one another again, to listen to each other and to share quality time.

This is where a claim starts to become something more. It no longer serves only to tell the project’s story: it becomes a criterion for recognising what belongs to its world.

What is interesting is that this formula does not stay confined to captions. It recurs in the content, is repeated, tied to places and used to present the community’s events. “Amici&BuonVino + La Differenza = Situazione Giusta”, “Amici&BuonVino + Il Piccolo = Situazione Giusta”: the claim becomes almost an equation through which every new collaboration is brought into the same universe.

It is one of the mechanisms through which social media turns a phrase into a code. Repetition builds familiarity; the community starts to recognise it and, above all, to know what to expect when it comes across it.

The situation changes address

One of the most revealing tests for an identity is to see what happens when the scenery changes.

Amici & Buon Vino can live among the vineyards of the Castelli Romani, but also in the centre of Rome. In May 2026, Little America brought the project in alongside Rodeo Family for an event at its store in Rione Monti, turning a space linked to street culture, for a few hours, into a meeting point for music, wine and conviviality.

From the vineyards to a store. Two very different places, and yet the feeling remains legible.

This happens because the project does not depend on a specific location. It already has its own grammar: people, music, wine, informality and care in selection. Collaborations help to widen this world and, at the same time, to define its boundaries.

And meanwhile, the world begins to widen.

The main page has also given rise to Brunello, “il van con il vinello”: a satellite profile devoted to slow travel, nature, wine and people. It is still an experiment in its early days, but it says something interesting about the direction the project might take. The world of Amici & Buon Vino already seems defined enough to generate new stories without having to start from scratch each time.

It is one of the first signs of the shift from a social media profile to something bigger: when it is no longer just the content that grows, but the world around it.

Growing without spoiling the party

Perhaps the greatest risk for a project built on atmosphere is succeeding too well.

A larger audience, more events and more collaborations can help Amici & Buon Vino grow. But every extension also adds a small responsibility: preserving the sense of spontaneity that made the project desirable.

The music must keep playing an accompanying role. The wine must retain its cultural value. Partners must share a genuine affinity. People must perceive the space as something to take part in, rather than a scene staged to be watched from the outside.

Each new collaboration can add a chapter. Too many indistinguishable occasions, on the other hand, would risk turning a sensibility into a formula.

Fortunately, the project already has a very simple question against which to measure every next step: is this truly a right situation?

The answer does not lie only in numbers or in the visibility achieved. It lies in the ability to recreate that particular match between people, place, music and wine from which everything began.

The brand before the brand

Amici & Buon Vino already has many of the elements through which an identity begins to consolidate: a name that is easy to remember, an adaptable claim, a few rituals, symbols that are starting to circulate, consistent collaborations and a community that understands the project without needing a lengthy explanation.

The most interesting aspect is that the personal brand, here, does not coincide with the prominence of a single individual. It takes shape in the ability to select, bring together and give meaning.

It is a useful lesson for many projects born on social media. Recognisability can also belong to what one makes possible for others: a context, a ritual, a precise way of being together.

Wine opens the door. Music sets the rhythm. People do the rest.

When all these elements are recognised as parts of the same world, the project can change location, meet new partners and produce new symbols without losing its origins.

In the end, what Amici & Buon Vino makes desirable is, above all, a way of being together.
And as long as, on walking in, we keep thinking the same thing (yes, this is the right situation), the brand will still be exactly where it should be.

New Connections (FAQ)

Why can Amici & Buon Vino be considered a personal brand?

Because it has turned a recognisable sensibility into a shared system. Places, music, wine, collaborations and language convey a precise way of experiencing conviviality. The personal brand, in this case, stems from the ability to create contexts that people recognise and want to inhabit.

When does a project born on social media need a brand strategy?

When growth begins to multiply the possibilities: new formats, collaborations, events, products or satellite projects. At that point, the spontaneity that gave rise to the project is no longer enough on its own; one needs to understand which elements can evolve and which, instead, must remain recognisable. It is one of the transitions that Bliss addresses in its Brand Strategy work: turning what the audience has already learnt to love into criteria capable of guiding future choices. In the case of Amici & Buon Vino, the strategic question would be simple: how far can the “Situazione Giusta” expand without ceasing to feel like one?

How can a project of this kind grow without losing its authenticity?

By protecting the criterion that made it recognisable, even before the individual formats. Growing may mean more events, collaborations, products and audience, but every extension must keep delivering the same promise. That is exactly what strategy is for: allowing the identity to evolve without turning what people loved into a repeated formula.
