FAQ - Web Agency and Website Development

Frequently Asked Questions

Building a website is a technical process: in short, you choose a CMS, upload the content and publish.

A digital architecture is something else entirely: it is the design of the environment in which the relationship between the brand and its audience takes place, built around the cognitive mechanisms that drive perception, navigation and decision-making.

The starting question changes completely: not ‘how do we want the site to look’ but ‘how should visitors feel as they navigate it, and what cognitive journey must they take to choose us’.

A well-built website is strategic infrastructure, not a digital
brochure. Bliss is a marketing and
communications agency
that designs digital ecosystems built to turn
traffic into measurable value.

UX Design maps out the user’s journey within a digital environment: the sequence of information, the navigation structure, the positioning of calls to action and the visual hierarchy of each page.

The guiding principle is zero friction: every obstacle between the customer’s desire and the action must be identified and removed. If users have to think about where to click, the navigation is not intuitive enough. If they have to go back to find information, the information architecture has failed. If the CTA is not visible at first glance, the conversion is lost.

Cognitive friction is directly proportional to the abandonment rate. Every unnecessary effort increases the likelihood that the user will leave the site before completing the desired action.

Zero friction does not mean oversimplification; it means precision in building a journey that supports the user’s intent without interruption. It is therefore an exercise in rigour, not reduction.

Speed has two measurable, documented impacts. On user behaviour: the average tolerance threshold on mobile is under three seconds. Beyond that limit, a growing percentage leave before even seeing the content.

A slow site is perceived as unprofessional and unreliable, and this perception taints the brand before the user has assessed a single word.

On Google positioning: speed is an explicit ranking factor. Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID, CLS) are measured as indicators of user experience and used to rank sites in the SERP. In competitive markets, the difference between the first and second page is worth 80% of organic traffic.

Success is measured through KPIs calibrated to the project’s specific objectives.

For a B2B corporate website: traffic quality (users from the right target audience), engagement (time on site, pages per session) and conversion rate into contact requests.

For an e-commerce site: conversion rate, average basket value, abandonment rate and percentage of repeat purchases.

For all categories of website: Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID, CLS) as core technical KPIs that affect both user experience and Google ranking.

At Bliss, the measurement system is configured before launch: tracking tags, Google Analytics 4 goals and conversion events are set up during development. From the first day of publication, the data is reliable and actionable.

The cost depends on the site’s objective, not its size. A five-page corporate site with bespoke design, SEO optimisation and configured analytics costs differently from an e-commerce site with checkout, inventory management and CRM integrations.

The main variables affecting price are: functional complexity (how many integrations, how much logic), the level of design customisation, content production and the SEO optimisation package included.

Bliss has offices in Rome (Via del Mandrione 63) and Milan (Via Brembo ). We also work with companies across Italy and with international clients remotely.

For remotely managed projects, the process is identical to that of local engagements: briefing, strategy, design, development, testing and launch follow the same rigour. The difference lies in the communication channel, not in the quality of the output.
