Operations FAQs

It is also the layer that raises the most questions, because it is the one people touch: an ad, a page, an e-mail, a search result, an answer produced by an artificial intelligence system.

Here we gather the answers on the third level of the Bliss Method, including all of Online Positioning: how SEO works, what changes with GEO and how visibility is built on search engines and in generative systems.

Understanding Operations

What are Bliss Operations?

They are the set of capabilities that turn a direction into something the market can see, use and measure.

Design, imagery, websites, campaigns, infrastructure, data and technology thus become concrete consequences of the strategy.

Can I work with Bliss on Operations alone?

Yes, when a sufficiently clear direction already exists.

If the criteria essential to guide the work are missing, it may be necessary first to define what the execution will have to represent.

Why connect Operations and Advisory?

So that no output has to reinvent the brand.

When positioning, audience, objectives and criteria are already defined, execution can focus on results instead of constantly reopening strategic decisions.

Can Operations work with a strategy developed by others?

Yes, provided it is sufficiently clear and actionable.

The first task is to verify whether it genuinely provides the criteria needed to guide what has to be delivered.

Can Bliss work alongside our in-house team?

Yes. Operations can produce directly, work alongside existing in-house expertise or integrate with existing suppliers and structures.

Brand Design

Does Bliss create visual identities?

Yes. The scope covers Graphic Design, Brand Identity, visual systems, packaging and other applications of the identity.

Do you also do rebranding?

Yes, when the visual change stems from a sufficiently clear strategic decision.

Design is built around the positioning and the system it will have to represent.

Can you update an identity without redoing it entirely?

Yes. The depth of the intervention depends on the diagnosis: some identities need to be rethought, others simply made more coherent, more applicable or better suited to new contexts.

Photography and video

Does Bliss produce photography and video in-house?

Yes. Bliss has a Visual Production unit with in-house creative direction and physical studios in Rome and Milan.

What kind of productions do you create?

The scope covers photographic campaigns, fashion and luxury, product, social content, video and other visual formats intended for campaigns and communications.

Can one production generate content for several channels?

Yes. Shoots can be planned to produce vertical, square and horizontal formats for different platforms and uses.

Can we handle production ourselves, working from your creative direction?

It depends on the mandate. When other suppliers take part in execution, the Governance system can provide the criteria and control needed to maintain direction.

Web

Does Bliss build websites?

Yes. The scope covers e-commerce, portfolio and landing pages, institutional and corporate websites.

Do you handle both design and development?

Yes. The process can include analysis, wireframes, UX, UI, development, optimisation, testing and launch.

Is the website also designed with SEO in mind?

Yes. SEO best practice must be built in from the development phase, together with performance and Core Web Vitals.

Can you redo just the UX without rebuilding everything?

It may be possible when the existing infrastructure allows effective intervention without introducing new constraints.

Do you build e-commerce sites?

Yes. The web service also covers e-commerce sites and dedicated purchase journeys.

Can we manage the site in-house after launch?

Yes. The project can include the training and handover needed for independent management.

Performance Marketing

Does Bliss manage Google Ads?

Yes. The scope can include Search Ads, Shopping Ads, Display and Performance Max.

Does it also manage Meta Ads and TikTok Ads?

Yes. The Performance Marketing system can integrate Google, Meta and TikTok under a single measurement and optimisation architecture.

How do you choose which channel to invest in?

Depending on the audience, the demand, the stage of the decision-making process and the objectives.

Google, Meta and TikTok cover different behaviours; the point is to define the role of each within the system.

How is a campaign measured?

Metrics are defined before launch. They may include conversions, cost per acquisition, return on budget, sales value and other KPIs aligned with the objective.

Should SEO and advertising work together?

They can, but they serve different horizons.

Advertising lets you buy visibility in the present. SEO builds an organic presence that can accumulate value over time.

Online Positioning FAQs

CRM

Does Bliss implement CRM?

Yes. The starting point, however, is the sales process, not the choice of software.

First, we map data, handovers between marketing and sales, manual tasks and opportunities for automation.

How do I know whether we need a CRM?

When data and relationships are scattered across Excel, email, WhatsApp and individual people, when there is no visibility over the pipeline, or when follow-ups and reports depend on manual work.

What if we already have a CRM that nobody uses?

It is one of those cases where the problem may lie in implementation, process, accountability or integration with day-to-day work rather than in the platform itself.

Is CRM only a matter for the sales department?

No. It can connect sales, marketing, customer service and other areas that share customer information.

Does Bliss sell proprietary software?

CRM work starts with designing the commercial system and choosing the most suitable infrastructure, rather than simply installing software.

AI and technology

Does Bliss develop AI solutions?

Yes. The ecosystem includes GEO, AI Visibility, AI Governance and Corallo, as well as solutions built around business processes.

What is Corallo?

It is the operational layer of Bliss’s AI ecosystem, designed for intelligent knowledge bases, decision dashboards and AI agents built on the organisation’s processes.

Are operational AI and AI Governance the same thing?

No. Implementation builds what the company will use. Governance establishes the criteria, responsibilities, controls and measurement needed to use it properly.

Results

How are Operations measured?

Metrics depend on the mandate and may cover brand consistency, traffic quality, conversions, performance, efficiency and other KPIs defined before launch.

Where can I see your work and results?

Case Studies present measurable results; the Studio section, by contrast, shows part of our creative and operational work.

Online Positioning FAQs

Online Positioning

Google decides which pages deserve visibility. ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity, by contrast, decide which sources deserve to become answers.

Two different systems. One shared need: to be present when someone searches for what you do.

Here we have gathered every question on Online Positioning, from SEO to GEO, from the site’s technical structure to visibility in artificial intelligence systems.

Explore Online Positioning

SEO and GEO

What is Online Positioning?

It is the system through which an organisation builds its ability to be found, understood and considered in the digital places where a search begins.

Today it means covering at least two fronts: traditional search engines through SEO and generative systems through GEO.

Are SEO and GEO the same thing?

No. They share some foundations, but respond to different mechanisms.

SEO works on a page's ability to rank in search results. GEO works on the likelihood that a brand or source will be understood, selected and cited within a generative answer.

Do I have to choose between SEO and GEO?

Not necessarily.

When a site starts from scratch, they can be planned together. If the infrastructure has significant technical problems, the priority may be to consolidate the SEO foundations first. If the Google presence is already strong, work on AI visibility may become more urgent.

Did SEO die with the arrival of artificial intelligence?

No. Traditional search and generative search cover different behaviours and moments.

The rise of AI Search expands the number of environments in which a brand needs to be present, rather than automatically eliminating Google.

SEO

What is SEO?

Search Engine Optimisation is the work that improves a site’s ability to gain organic visibility in search engines.

It addresses technical infrastructure, content and domain authority.

What does “organic” mean?

It means gaining visibility without paying directly for every click through an advertising campaign.

Rankings must nonetheless be built and maintained through technical, editorial and authority work.

How long does it take to see SEO results?

It depends on the state of the site, the maturity of the domain and the competitiveness of the queries.

In some cases, technical work on sites that are already indexed can produce early signals in around 60–90 days, whereas stable rankings for competitive keywords often require longer horizons, even 6–12 months.

What is an SEO Audit?

It is a technical, content and authority diagnosis of the website.

It identifies issues with crawling, indexing, duplication, cannibalisation, performance, backlinks and architecture before priorities are set.

SEO Audit

What is technical SEO?

It is the part of SEO concerned with how well search engines can crawl, interpret and index the site.

It covers aspects such as Core Web Vitals, URLs, redirects, canonicals, sitemaps, robots.txt, rendering and technical architecture.

Does content still matter for SEO?

Yes. Google needs to understand which page answers which intent, how useful that answer is and how it fits into the overall architecture of the domain.

What is SEO cannibalisation?

It occurs when several URLs compete for the same intent or for very similar queries, making it less clear which page the search engine should treat as the priority.

Why is internal linking important?

Because it connects pages semantically, distributes authority and helps both search engines and users understand which content is central and which is supporting detail.

What is an orphan page?

A page that receives few or no meaningful internal links. Even when it technically exists, it remains weak within the site's structure.

What is the difference between SEO and Google Ads?

Google Ads buys traffic for as long as the budget is running. SEO builds organic rankings that can keep generating visibility over time.

For many organisations, the two levers play complementary roles.

Can I do SEO on an existing site?

Yes. In that case the initial diagnosis serves precisely to understand what to preserve, what to correct and which limitations are structural.

What happens to SEO when I rebuild my site?

A migration must preserve existing assets through URL mapping, redirects, structure, content and indexing control.

Changing site without managing this transition can squander rankings built up over years.

SEO by platform

Does Bliss handle SEO for WordPress sites?

Yes. WordPress offers great flexibility from an SEO standpoint, but that very freedom can, over time, create structural problems, duplication, unnecessary pages, overlapping plugins and inadequate technical performance.

A WordPress SEO project therefore starts with an analysis of the existing architecture, indexing, templates and published content. From there, Bliss works on page structure, internal linking, performance, structured data and editorial strategy, so that the site can grow without accumulating unnecessary complexity.

Does Bliss handle SEO for Shopify?

Yes. Shopify makes it possible to build e-commerce sites quickly, but effective organic growth requires particular attention to the structure of collections and products, URL management, duplicate content and the way Google crawls the catalogue.

Shopify SEO is above all about turning the catalogue into a search architecture: understanding which categories should capture demand, which products deserve visibility in their own right and how to connect informational content and commercial pages along the purchase journey. For an e-commerce business, being found before the customer has already chosen what to buy means entering the decision much earlier.

→ Shopify SEO

Does Bliss provide SEO for Magento?

Yes. Magento is often used by e-commerce businesses with large catalogues, complex structures and a high number of categories, filters and variants. It is precisely this complexity that makes SEO particularly important.

An ungoverned structure can generate thousands of low-value URLs, wasted crawl budget, duplicate content and difficulty in making search engines understand which pages are genuinely the priority. SEO for Magento therefore works on the relationship between technical infrastructure, catalogue and search demand, with particular attention to indexing, faceted navigation, performance, categories and scalability.

SEO by sector and business model

Why is SEO particularly important for an e-commerce business?

Because in e-commerce a significant share of demand arises before people reach the site.

People search for categories, products, features, alternatives, reviews and solutions. Being present at those moments allows the brand to capture demand that already exists, rather than relying solely on advertising to generate it.

An SEO and commerce strategy works on categories, product pages, catalogue architecture, transactional queries and informational content, always keeping a link to real economic data such as margins, seasonality, availability and conversion value.

The goal is not to increase traffic indiscriminately. It is to bring more people to the site who have a concrete reason to buy.

→ E-commerce SEO

Why is SEO important for a B2B company?

In B2B, search volumes are often lower than in consumer markets, but they can precede decisions of far greater economic weight.

A prospective client may search for a solution, a technology, a supplier, a comparison between alternatives or an answer to a problem months before speaking to the sales team. SEO allows the company to be present during this evaluation phase and to build authority before a negotiation even begins.

This is why a B2B SEO strategy cannot be judged on traffic alone. What matters most is which searches are captured, which decision-makers reach the site and how far those visits move towards a commercial decision.

→ B2B SEO

Why should an SME invest in SEO?

For an SME, SEO can become a way to compete on relevance rather than on budget size.

A smaller business can rarely sustain advertising spend higher than that of large competitors indefinitely. Over time, however, it can build a very strong presence in the searches closest to its expertise, its local area or its customers' specific needs.

The work therefore consists of understanding where an SME can be genuinely authoritative, avoiding spreading resources across overly broad keywords and instead building a body of pages and content capable of generating visibility over time.

→ SEO for SMEs

Why does SEO for the luxury sector require a specific approach?

Because in luxury, visibility and positioning must grow together.

Being found matters, but not at the cost of trivialising the brand, chasing every keyword or producing content that erodes its perceived exclusivity. A luxury SEO strategy must therefore reconcile search demand, language, imagery, international markets and control of the digital presence.

The work can cover both searches directly linked to the brand and those through which a prospective client discovers categories, products, experiences and alternatives before knowing a specific name.

SEO thus also becomes a positioning tool: it determines which digital conversations the brand should be part of and which it is better to stay out of.

→ Luxury SEO

Why is SEO important for public administration?

For a public administration, the value of SEO is not measured mainly in sales, but in how quickly people can find information, services and answers.

Calls for tender, procedures, documents, services, deadlines and institutional pages can be published flawlessly and still remain hard to reach if the site is not structured around the way citizens and businesses actually search.

SEO for the public sector therefore works on information architecture, content clarity, indexing, accessibility of key pages and understanding of search intent.

In this context, being found means making a public service more accessible.

→ SEO for the Public Sector

GEO by sector and business model

Why is GEO important for a B2B company?

In B2B, a decision rarely stems from a single search. Before contacting a supplier, a prospective client may ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or Perplexity which solutions exist, which companies are considered authoritative in a given sector, which alternatives to compare or which criteria to use when choosing.

GEO works precisely on this phase: ensuring the brand is understandable, recognisable and authoritative enough to feature in the answers that come before any commercial contact.

For a B2B company, then, AI visibility is not only about how often it is cited. What matters most is which capabilities it is remembered for, which competitors it appears alongside and which decisions it manages to enter.

→ GEO for B2B

Why does GEO matter for an e-commerce business?

Because product discovery is also becoming conversational.

A user may ask an AI system which product to choose, what the best alternatives are for a given need, which brands offer a certain feature or how to compare different options, before even going to Google or a marketplace.

For an e-commerce business, GEO therefore means working so that products, categories, features, differences and brand reputation can be correctly interpreted by generative systems.

The point is not simply to appear in an answer. It is to ensure the AI has enough information to understand when a product is relevant, why it should be considered and against which alternatives.

→ GEO for e-commerce

Why does GEO require a specific approach in the luxury sector?

Because in luxury, visibility cannot be separated from the way the brand is portrayed.

A generative system can become one of the first places where a person asks which brands are the most interesting in a category, which maison has a particular history, which products represent a certain aesthetic or which alternatives genuinely belong to a premium segment.

Being cited in the wrong context can therefore be almost as damaging as not being cited at all.

GEO for luxury works on the quality of associations: identity, heritage, positioning, category, market, source authority and language must all contribute to a coherent representation of the brand.

The aim is for AI systems not simply to know that the brand exists, but to understand where to place it and why it differs from others.

→ GEO for Luxury

Why should an SME work on GEO?

Because generative systems can, in some contexts, reduce the advantage that comes from recognition alone.

When someone asks a very specific question, AI may try to identify organisations that are particularly relevant, specialised or authoritative on that problem. An SME with clear vertical expertise may therefore benefit from making its specialisation far more legible online.

This is why GEO for an SME is not about trying to appear bigger than it is. It is about making clear where the business has genuine expertise, which problems it solves, where it operates and which independent sources confirm its authority.

In highly vertical markets, being recognised as one of the credible answers to a specific question can be worth more than general awareness.

→ GEO for SMEs

Does GEO really differ from one sector to another?

Yes, because the way demand arises changes. A B2B buyer may ask which suppliers to compare. A consumer may look for the best product for a particular need. In luxury, the perception of positioning may be central. For an SME, what may matter most is being associated with a very specific area of expertise. The technology used by generative systems may be the same. What changes, however, are the questions, the relevant sources, the entities to cover, the competitors and, above all, what it means to be a useful answer.

How do I work out which questions my brand should appear in AI answers for?

We start from people's decision-making process. We need to understand what they ask before they know the brand, what comparisons they make, what problems they are trying to solve, which categories they use and which attributes they consider important.

SEO + GEO together

Can content be optimised for Google and for AI at the same time?

Yes, but the two objectives must be considered separately.

A page may have the structure, intent match and authority suited to SEO, while entity clarity, verifiability, semantic structure and external signals increase its usefulness to AI ecosystems.

Is a blog still worthwhile?

Yes, when it builds genuine topical coverage.

A blog without architecture, on the other hand, risks producing overlapping pages, cannibalisation and confused semantic signals.

How many pages do I need to create to rank?

There is no correct number.

You need as many URLs as it takes to cover genuinely distinct intents. When two pages answer the same question, adding a third rarely improves matters.

How do you choose keywords?

Through business relevance, intent, volume, competitiveness, existing architecture and the real possibility of achieving a result.

Do keywords still exist in GEO?

Queries still matter, but they are also examined as concepts, entities and semantic relationships.

A conversational query can express the same need as a traditional keyword using dozens of different phrasings.

Does ranking necessarily mean more traffic?

No.

Traffic has value when it brings the right people or strengthens the organisation's presence in the moments that precede a decision.

How do I know whether to work first on the site, the content or authority?

With a diagnosis.

Priorities are set on the basis of the situation observed, not starting from a solution chosen in advance.
