Collectors Italia

Identity building and positioning for a technical company in a phase of consolidation

Collectors Italia is today the largest information community dedicated to the TCG world in Italy.
A project born from a strong ability to attract audience, attention and authority, but one that needed a brand and business structure able to turn this strength into a recognisable, protectable and scalable system. Bliss Agency stepped in to build this transition: from the community’s authority to a brand with its own identity, language, digital infrastructure and proprietary revenue model.

Period: 2025
Project duration: 60 days

Problem

The attention was already there. What was missing was a structure able to give it shape, continuity and value.

Collectors Italia already had a rare asset: a huge community, strong recognition in the sector and a proven ability to generate interest around the GCC world. Arturo and Riccardo had built an authoritative presence, but the project did not yet have an identity strong enough or a structure solid enough to support a more ambitious evolution.

The critical issues were clear:
•a strong, consistent and recognisable brand identity was missing;
•the chosen name posed a potential protection and registrability issue, given its generic nature;
•there was not yet an ecosystem capable of bringing together community, content, e-commerce and conversion under a single direction;
•the brand did not yet have a revenue logic built on its own real physiology;
•the graphic and visual presence, including on social touchpoints, did not yet fully express uniqueness, innovation and recognisability.

The problem, then, was not a lack of following.
It was the absence of a machine capable of turning that attention into identity, data collection, desire and governed sales.

Solution

We built the brand from the ground up, giving it identity, positioning and a proprietary business model.

Bliss supported Collectors Italia step by step, working on every element needed to turn a strong community into a structured brand.

The engagement included:
•definition of the brand identity, developing a strong, recognisable visual system consistent with the TCG world;
•support with naming clearance searches, to verify the viability of the chosen name with a view to trademark registration in Italy;
•building online positioning;
•design and development of the website, working on both the backend and the frontend;
•refinement and roll-out of the graphic elements across social touchpoints, to strengthen consistency, recognisability and impact;
•design of a proprietary revenue model, built specifically for their structure.

The strongest lever was the introduction of a drop-based sales model, developed specifically for Collectors Italia: releases tied to actual product availability, countdowns, sales opening and closing until stock runs out, data and newsletter capture, and demand concentrated into precise windows.

A system inspired by proven models, but adapted in a proprietary way to the brand’s structure, community and logistics

Value

The work transformed Collectors Italia from an information community into a brand and business asset.

The value generated was expressed on several levels:
•Identity
The brand has gained a clearer, more authentic and recognisable DNA.
•Recognisability
Collectors’ image has become stronger, more consistent and more distinctive across digital and social touchpoints.
•Digital design
The website became a genuine brand asset: a dynamic, innovative frontend designed to convey uniqueness, tension and contemporaneity.
•Positioning
The community was turned into a legible platform, able to combine information, authority and commerce.
•Engagement
The new graphic rollout across social touchpoints proved highly successful, strengthening the bond with the community and reinforcing the brand’s presence.
•Conversion
Traffic and interest did not remain mere attention: they were organised into more efficient buying windows.
•Data collection
The system increased sign-ups and newsletter subscriptions, turning anticipation into a lever for relationship-building and conversion.
•Margins and management
Concentrating sales on specific dates made it possible to maximise demand, protect margins and simplify logistics.

Today Collectors enjoys genuine recognition, a strong visual language and a digital infrastructure designed to stand out, not merely to function.

Action

Bliss turned the community’s authority into an operating system for brand, design and revenue.

In practical terms, we:
•built a strong, consistent brand identity;
•guided the brand through the strategic naming check and trademark protection;
•defined the project’s digital positioning;
•designed and developed the website, both frontend and backend;
•built a frontend with a dynamic, innovative design, conceived to give Collectors distinctiveness and impact;
•improved and coordinated the brand’s visual presence on social media, strengthening consistency and recognisability;
•devised a proprietary revenue logic based on timed drops and controlled availability;
•enabled sales to open and close according to real stock;
•introduced a data and newsletter capture model ahead of conversion;
•concentrated demand into specific moments, improving commercial efficiency and logistics management.

The result was a model that brings together community, brand, design, content and sales within a single structured system.

CRM and Email Marketing

Data collection and newsletter system

The CRM system manages pre-drop data collection, structured anticipation and the sending of email campaigns aimed at conversion in line with the timed sales windows. There are 482 active contacts in the CRM. 15 email campaigns were launched. 6,295 emails were sent in total.

Drop System — proprietary logic

The sales model adopted is built on four sequential phases. The first is Collection, with pre-drop newsletter sign-up: before the launch, contacts are gathered, the waiting list is created and anticipation and desire are built. The second is the Countdown, with timed sales opening: a countdown visible on the site concentrates demand within a defined window with a precise date and time. The third is the Drop, with sales based on real availability: real stock acts as a lever, and sales close when it runs out, maximising margin and simplifying logistics. The fourth is the Post-Drop, with nurturing and preparation for the next cycle: a post-sale email campaign, community relations and preparation for the following drop.

Brand Transformation

Situation before the engagement

Collectors Italia GCC had a sizeable audience but lacked a strong, consistent and recognisable brand identity. The naming presented potential issues regarding trademark protection and registrability. There was no ecosystem capable of bringing together community, e-commerce and conversion. No revenue logic was built on the project’s real physiology. Its visual presence on social media was not distinctive, leaving its uniqueness and innovation unexpressed.

Results after the Bliss Agency engagement

A strong brand identity was built with a clear DNA, recognisable and consistent across every touchpoint. A prior-rights check on the naming was carried out, with support for trademark protection and registration. The e-commerce site was developed with a dynamic frontend that brings together community, information and commerce. A proprietary drop system was implemented with countdowns, timed sales and structured data collection. The profile reached 26,142 followers with average growth of 67 new followers a day, strong engagement and a consistent, high-impact visual identity.

Result

We turned a large community into a brand with identity, design and business logic. Today Collectors Italia is not just an authoritative player in its sector. It is a brand with a clear DNA, genuine recognisability, a distinctive digital ecosystem and a revenue structure designed to maximise demand, data capture and conversion. The attention was already there. Bliss gave it shape, direction and a system.
