Brand Identity & Visual Identity

A SYMBOL OF SUPPORT, REBIRTH, AND AWARENESS

The logo stems from the idea that no one can exit pathological gambling alone. For this reason, it is built starting from four stylized figures, united in a gesture of mutual help: they support each other, reach out a hand, and form a community that welcomes those living with addiction.

The logo is built around people: four stylized figures reaching out to one another, supporting and leaning on each other. They visually represent the mutual support necessary to overcome gambling addiction.

These figures, as they come together, create a star—a spark: a sign of light with two fundamental meanings. On one hand, it symbolizes rebirth, the light at the end of the tunnel of addiction; on the other, it serves as guidance, a reference point that shows the way out. It represents hope, light, and new life.

At the center, there is a fifth figure, isolated and colored blue, representing the difficulty and loneliness of someone who, alone, cannot face the problem. This blue is associated with “Blue Monday,” a symbol of sadness and discouragement, emphasizing the condition of those trapped in gambling.

Together, the figures form a die, clearly referencing gambling. The visible face shows the number 5—a number that in games can evoke randomness and chance, but here becomes a symbol of community and support: five people, five forces that together transform risk into rebirth.

EVERY COLOR HAS BEEN CHOSEN WITH A PRECISE MEANING:

We have developed a completely new visual concept, capable of renewing the image of the GAP (Pathological Gambling) campaign while maintaining its public and informational function. The proposal was built by evaluating: aesthetic quality, to guarantee a modern, clear, and recognizable image; innovation, integrating ideas and solutions that could differentiate themselves from previous campaigns and capture attention more effectively; strategic consistency, ensuring that every graphic choice responded to the objectives of the Piedmont Region and the communication target.

CREATION OF GRAPHIC ELEMENTS FOR THE INSTITUTIONAL CAMPAIGN

Starting from the concept, we produced all the necessary assets for the campaign, including: main layouts for informational and promotional materials; icons, symbols, and visual components consistent with the new identity; color palette and coordinated typographic style; and guidelines useful for the application of the new style in further communicative tools. The goal was to build a solid, modular graphic system that is easily applicable across various channels.
