and Brainstorming

Before diving headfirst into the code, we take a deep dive into your objectives. At this stage we try to understand what the client wants, which, believe me, is no easy task. We discover what makes your business special and how we can bring it to the fore. We examine the market and, with a critical eye, your competitors too (you never know, they might have done something good).

Phase 2
Prototyping
At this stage, we sketch the first drafts of your site. We create the wireframes, the skeletal versions of the pages, to work out where every element will go without worrying about colours and fonts just yet. It’s a bit like building your dream home starting from a sketch on a napkin. Then we move on to prototyping: we work out how the pages will be linked and where the information will sit so that users can reach it easily (Information Architecture).
Phase 3
User Interface Design and Animations
This third phase is one of the most fun: here, like children, we play with colours and fonts. Once this process is complete, we move on to adding animations that make the site boredom-proof.
Urban Legend:
Legend has it that animations are the enjoyable part for a designer. The truth is they are probably the most frustrating step.
Phase 4
User Testing &
Site Delivery
Final phase: the best for the client, the worst for us. The time has come to say goodbye to our little baby. After just 30 days the newborn is ready to walk on its own. Let’s hope it doesn’t fall! Once all the testing is done, we hand the finished site over to the client, who can then do whatever they like with it. Don’t worry: for 12 months you will have full technical support, including plugin updates and fixing any bugs, should a “nappy change” be needed.
